Ljubljana is the capital of Slovenia. It's about 5 hours south of Vienna. Our trip started there, then we picked up the Attache at a train station on the Austrian/Slovenian border.

Vintgar Gorge. It's an essential hike if you're in Slovenia. It's only about 1 hour long. The setting is magnificent.

Lake Bled is a world famous fairy tale setting. It's a small mountain lake with a tiny island in the middle surrounded by snow capped mountains. We put my dad to work to paddle us over to the island.

We stopped in Graz, Austria on our drive back to Vienna. Graz is where Arnold Schwarzenneger is from.
